Yeovil Round Table frequently organises charitable fund raising activities and community service projects. In the UK many Round Tables operate these activities through charitable trusts which are registered with, and regulated by, the Charities Commission.
Since 2003, Yeovil Round Table has made the following donations:
- 2008 - In 2008 we presented cheques as follows:
- £14,000 to St Margaret's Hospice
- £4,000 to Fiveways School
- £4,000 to Yeovil Opportunity Group
- £4,000 to Round Table's Children's Wish
- £4,000 to the British Brain & Spine Foundation
- 2007 - In 2007 we presented cheques as follows:
- £7,000 to Round Table's Children's Wish
- £4,000 to St Margaret's Hospice
- £4,000 to Fiveways School
- £4,000 to Yeovil Opportunity Group
- £4,000 to the British Brain & Spine Foundation
- £500 to Yeovil Celebrates it's Young Achievers
- £7,094.49 raised through the 3 Peaks 24 Hour Challenge where we climbed the highest mountains in England, Scotland and Wales back-to-back in 24 hours.
- 2006 - £7000 to the British Brain & Spine Foundation (BBSF), £4000 to the Yeovil Opportunity Group (YOG), £1000 to the Yeovil Guide for the Blind and £4000 to St. Margarets Hospice.
- 2005 - £4000 to the Yeovil Opportunity Group (YOG), £1000 to the British Brain & Spine Foundation (BBSF) and £3000 to St. Margarets Hospice.
- 2004 - £4000 to the Yeovil Opportunity Group (YOG), £1500 to Fiveways School, £1500 to St. Margarets Hospice, £300 to the British Brain & Spine Foundation (BBSF) and £180 to the Yeovil Red Cross.
- 2003 - £1500 to St. Margarets Hospice.
