Friendship, community, and doing more in Yeovil

Do More in Yeovil

Founded in 1950, Yeovil Round Table 222 is a social and community group for men aged 18 to 45 who want friendship, purpose, and the chance to make a real difference locally. We are a group of like-minded guys who love a good laugh, new experiences, and making a difference here in Yeovil. Together we organise fun socials, support local good causes, help at community events, and create great experiences across Yeovil and the surrounding area.

Open to men in and around Yeovil who want more from local life.

Yeovil Round Table 222 brings together local men from different backgrounds, jobs, and walks of life through fun, friendship, fundraising, and community action. Founded in 1950, the group is still going strong today.

We are not a formal networking club, and we are not just a pub group either. We are a local group of men who meet regularly, support one another, organise and help with events, and raise money for good causes in and around Yeovil.

About Yeovil Round Table 222

Who we are

Create friends for life campaign artwork

Yeovil Round Table 222 is part of the wider Round Table movement, which began in Norwich in 1927 and has grown into a long-standing network of local clubs focused on fun, friendship, and service in the community.

We are a Yeovil-based Round Table for men aged 18 to 45 who want to do more with their time, meet more people locally, and be part of something positive. Our members come from different backgrounds and careers, and what unites us is a shared interest in community, friendship, and getting involved.

What We Do

Social life with community action

Friendship

Make new friends, build real local friendships, and become part of a supportive group that gets together regularly for socials, meals, activities, and community projects.

Community

Get involved in Yeovil, help local causes, support local charities, and play a practical part in events that make a difference to people nearby.

Fundraising

Round Table is built on fundraising for local communities, with clubs across Great Britain and Ireland raising millions of pounds and volunteering thousands of hours each year.

New Experiences

From relaxed evenings out to bigger activities and challenges, every meeting is a chance for adventure, laughter, and trying things you probably would not do on your own.

Monthly meetings

We hold regular monthly meetings at local restaurants, bars, and establishments in Yeovil. These evenings are a chance to catch up, welcome new faces, talk through ideas, plan what is coming up, and keep the group active and connected.

Annual Charity Lunch

Our Annual Charity Lunch brings together friends, supporters, and local businesses to raise vital funds for community causes over fantastic food and company.

Events and helping out

Being part of Yeovil Round Table 222 is not only about attending socials. It is also about rolling up your sleeves, helping at events, supporting fundraising activity, and contributing your time and effort where it can make a genuine difference locally.

AGM

Each year, our AGM gives members the chance to celebrate achievements, shape the future of the group, and welcome new faces into the Table.

Community & Charity

Keeping support local

Supporting local charities, community projects, and good causes is a central part of what Round Table does. At Yeovil Round Table 222, we want to support the local community in practical ways through fundraising, volunteering, and showing up when help is needed. We are not just about having fun. We are passionate about supporting Yeovil’s charities, youth groups, and community projects.

One of the strongest ideas shared across Round Table is that fundraising should benefit the community connected to each club. That local focus helps members see the direct impact of what they do, and it helps the wider community know that support raised in Yeovil can stay close to Yeovil.

Why it matters

Community starts inside the group as well as outside it. Round Table is also about men supporting one another, building friendships, sharing experiences, and creating a strong local network of people who can rely on each other.
